Eva for Loverly

Hello!  I have a very exciting post to share with you today,  I was contacted by Loverly to help launch their new line of Bridesmaid Dresses.  I've been asked to help businesses out before, but this is the first one I ever accepted because I loved this new line.  For those of you who are not familiar with Loverly, they are a "one stop shop for wedding planning where brides and grooms can find ideas, people to hire, and things to buy for their weddings."

The new line I was asked to help launch is called Eva for Loverly.  The dresses were co-designed by top Anthropologie designer Eva Franco.  They are full of personality and style and feature short, full-length  dresses and jumpsuits in lush textures and fabrics, like lace, jacquard, and chiffon.  Even if you are not involved in any weddings this spring, these dresses are so pretty and versatile, you could wear them for any special event.

The first thing that struck my eye when I saw the beautiful collection was the texture.  I felt it was so creative and original;  I've never seen bridesmaids dresses that looked like this before.  The fabric seems to have an old world flair, but the cut and style of the dress is classic and modern.  It's a wonderful blend of old and new.   I also loved that the dress is available in both sleeveless and with sleeves.  I could easily see the mother of the bride wearing the dress on the left, and a bridesmaid wearing the sleeveless one.
Pantsuits have been all the rage the past season, so it's wonderful to see that as an option for weddings too.  I personally always feel more comfortable in pants than in dresses, and I find the pantsuits in this line so elegant.  I especially love the one on the right.  I love the softness of the material and how it flows and drapes.  The wide legs are also right on trend with today's popular styles.
One of the most popular colors right now is blush.  It was a color that was introduced to the fashion world a season or two ago, but it's popularity has not waned;  if anything, it has grown and is going to be even more popular this spring.   And what a perfect color for weddings!  Nothing is softer or prettier than the color blush!  Blush is a very complimentary color:   just about any other color goes with it, so finding the perfect second accent color for your wedding wouldn't be difficult.  And better yet, blush goes great with black or grey, so it will match the groom and groomsmen perfectly!
It's hard to pick a favorite out of this beautiful new line, but if I had to, it would be the dresses with the textured overlays.  I can just imagine the 'oohs and ahhs' the bridesmaids would receive walking down the aisle in these beauties.  And because of the shorter length, these dresses could be worn again and again all spring and summer long.  The colors are the second reason I love these dresses.  They just are perfect wedding colors:  so lovely and feminine.  I could just see these dresses in a daytime, outdoor garden wedding, can't you?

I absolutely love the back of this dress!   Is that sexy or what?  This would be the perfect bridesmaid or mother-of-the-bride dress for a elegant, formal, evening wedding.  That's what I love the most about this new line, there is something for everyone and for any type of wedding.
You can see more of the Eva line HERE, and other bridesmaids dresses that Loverly offers HERE.  There's even more gorgeous dresses featured on the site that are just jaw dropping.  I especially love the vintage inspired ones in the blush color.  If I ever have a special event to attend, or my youngest ever gets married, I will definitely be shopping at Loverly.  I've never seen such gorgeous dresses anywhere else.

So what about you?  Are you attending any weddings this spring that you are looking for a dress?  What do you think of this new line?  Which ones were your favorites?  I'd love to hear from you!

Have a great day!  Amy

  2. What a lovely line. Not a typical bridesmaid dress-one you could actually wear somewhere else! Wish something like this would have been available back when I got married :)
